From Muscle-Bone Concept to the ArthroMyoFascial Complex: A Pragmatic Anatomical Concept for Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy.

We are proud to announce that the latest article ‘From Muscle-Bone Concept to the ArthroMyoFascial Complex: A Pragmatic Anatomical Concept for Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy (Noten & Amstel, 2024)’ has been published in the journal Life.

This review article first provides background information to describe the basics of fascia, classified according to the identification codes established by the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists via Anatomical Terminology. Next, each anatomical fascial tissue and its connections to muscles and bones within this ArthroMyoFascial complex are briefly discussed and classified. Then, evidence of the concept is analysed through ultrasound image analysis using skeletonisation. Finally, the physiotherapy implications of this model are discussed.

Physio Physics, as the founder of DAMT, distinguishes itself by developing concrete treatment methods and procedures based on these scientific insights, offering training programmes, and applying these methods in physiotherapy treatments.

Msys is committed to developing practical applications based on these scientific insights to support treatments.
